The Seoul Metropolitan Government provides a “Women Safe Return Home Scouting Service” for citizens returning home alone late at night. Although the service is implemented with good intentions, it is inconvenient because of its short service hours and the need for human interaction. To solve these problems, SCOUT proposes a CCTV scout robot rental service. SCOUT aims to provide a safe way home through one-step communication between users, their families, the CCTV control center, and the police.
